Watching this gave me a lot to think about, and I feel like both people had valid points. I understand what she is saying by supporting these celebrities and the fact that they are trying to raise money and awareness, but I can also see why he is skeptical and critical of these celebs. I guess it makes sense for these celebs to use their status to reach people but after hearing what was said I feel like they are almost taking the easy way out. There are so many other ways they could inform people about their causes and raise money instead of basically putting a price tag on themselves asking people ‘how much is the info about my life worth to you?’

Still in this case I would have to say the ends do justify the means, and even though I might not think this was the best way to go about it, the fact that they raised close to $300,000 for AIDS is impressive and successful.
